Entertaining, original, peopled with interesting characters. The author shares her first-hand knowledge of spiritual practices that have helped her achieve a balanced, happy life. But, my favorite thing about this book is that the police detectives and uniformed officers are, for a change, given intelligent dialogue instead of sounding like they couldn't open a door without help from a CSI. This is a short read - I finished in about 2 hours. But then I am like, well where does this Kyle guy that disappeared have anything to do with this story. I don't know how other people judge whether this book is good or not, but I do know that it was very good for me. Assumes some prior experience with the guitar.
